Report on "An Evening with Don Piper"

On August 18th our unique evening with celebrated author and speaker Don Piper ("90 Minutes in Heaven") was a great night.  Over 700 people gathered in the Clipper Stadium in Lancaster, Pa., to worship God and respond to His message.   More than 40 people came forward for counseling, with 8 praying to place their faith in Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior.  A great night was shared by all.

Our Efforts Continue

The Lancaster Stadium event last August 18th was part of a larger effort to reach out to people in the Central Pennsylvania with the good news of Jesus Christ.  Plans are now being strategized for more prayer and activity efforts to share Jesus.

The South Central Baptist Association has several partnerships that are vital and on-going.  Through our cooperation with the Baptist Convention of PA/SJ, we are parnters with the North Carolina Baptist Convention and the Illinois Baptist State Association.  Our Illinois our partnership is specifically with the Fox Valley Baptist Association, located west of Chicago.
